LAKAD FOR KARAPATAN

• Meaning: Lakad means walk and Karapatan means rights in Tagalog/Filipino.
• Purpose: Hosting Lakad for Karapatan to raise $50,000 towards initiatives in the Philippines.
• Impact: Funds will provide relief and rehabilitation to communities impacted by natural calamities.
• Support: Help support the Filipino Bayanihan Center’s Health Programs and a new Migrant Worker’s Training Center in Portland, OR.

These programs are vital to address the needs of our communities whose basic rights are not upheld. LAKAD helps us address the root problems of the lack of health, land, and community infrastructure, all of which our kababayan from the Philippines to Oregon have the right to. Support us as we tackle the immediate needs of the Filipino people.

REGISTRATION FEE

• $40: Early Bird Registration w/ Lakad Shirt (July 24-August 15)
• $50: Regular Registration w/ Lakad Shirt (August 16-September 1)
• $50: Late Registration, Shirt Not Guaranteed (September 2-6)

RACE DAY SCHEDULE

• 8am: Runner Check In
• 9am: Race Begins
• 10:00am-1pm: Kick back in the park and enjoy some Filipino food, vendors, activities, and live performances.
