Location Highlights
- Excellent Opportunities: Hayden and West Routt County have some excellent road and mountain biking opportunities.
- Quiet Roads: Enjoy a great network of quiet, rural gravel roads.
Ride Options
- 31 mile scenic ‘Gravel Grinder’: This ride starts with a challenging pavement ascent on the Cog, then circles west on gravel roads around Elkhead Reservoir.
- 27 mile ‘Mud Route’: Almost entirely on gravel and dirt, this route begins with a spectacular climb up the Middle Cog and traverses remote backcountry including the homestead of Ferry Carpenter.
- 43 mile ‘Combined Ride’: This option features the best of both the Gravel Grinder and Mud Route.
