- Time: 8:50am
- Partnership: Offered in partnership with the Tread of Pioneers Museum.
- Admission Coupon: All participants receive a half-off admission coupon to the Tread of Pioneers Museum.
What to Expect
- Segments: The walk is broken into two segments.
- First Hour: Covers ~1 mile, mostly flat along city sidewalks.
- Second Trek: An optional trek to Lithia Springs, covering another mile with some elevation gain.
- Path: The route traverses residential streets.
What to Wear/Bring
- Attire: Casual walk; wear comfortable clothes and shoes for 1-2 hours outside.
- Weather Preparedness: Be ready for the weather; sun protection such as a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen is recommended.
- Sun Safety: UV rays are powerful at elevation; two hours can cause sunburns and sight damage.
- Essentials: Bring a water bottle and any necessary medications, including epi-pens.
