- Naturalist Guidance: Join a Yampatika Naturalist as we explore Steamboat’s Mineral Springs.
- Historical Insight: Each spring has its own history, medicinal uses, and geologic past.
- Age Appropriateness: Open to all ages; however, content is taught at an adult/young adult level.
- Partnership: This program is offered in partnership with the Tread of Pioneers Museum, with a half-off admission coupon provided to participants.

- Time: 8:50am
What to Expect
- Walk Segments: The walk is divided into two segments.
- First Segment: Covers ~1 mile, mostly flat and along city sidewalks.
- Second Segment: Optional trek to Lithia Springs, covering another mile with some elevation gain.
What to Wear/Bring
- Clothing: Wear comfortable clothes and shoes suitable for 1-2 hours outside.
- Weather Preparedness: Be ready for varying weather; sun protection is recommended (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen).
- Sun Safety: UV rays are more powerful at this elevation; protect yourself from potential sunburn.
- Essentials: Bring a water bottle and any necessary medications, including epi-pens.
