Bicycle SWAP MEET & EXPO - October CycleFest

- Date: Saturday, October 10, 2026
- Setup: Noon-1 pm
- Open to Public: 1-5 pm
- Location: Historic Union Pacific Depot, near downtown Lawrence
What is October CycleFest?
We’re making Lawrence the cycling enthusiast’s destination for the full weekend (October 10-11), featuring two rides: the Tour de Chicken Creek gravel ride (Sat) and the iconic fall classic Octoginta road ride (Sun), in its 57th year! Many will remember the popular Swap Meet at the Octoginta (pre-covid). Well, we’re bringing it back and adding the EXPO for community bike organizations! To be held at the Historic Union Pacific Depot.
Swap Meet & Expo Traffic
The two rides combined have attracted up to 500 riders in past years, about half locals and half from outside of Lawrence. The Swap Meet & Expo is after the Saturday morning Chicken Creek gravel ride and is concurrent with the packet pickup for the Octoginta at the same location as the Swap Meet & Expo. The Octoginta road ride is Sunday morning.

Expo at CycleFest - General Rules
We ask that you register online ahead to reserve your spot. This is a place where formal and informal community-based cycling and related organizations spread their word. Like-minded groups from surrounding areas are welcome.
- Booth Location: The EXPO booths are primarily inside the historic Union Pacific Depot, adjacent to Packet Pickup for the 57th Octoginta road ride.
- Booth Limitation: Inside booths are limited. Once filled, other booths are available just outside the Depot.
