Making Tracks for South 5K

Event Overview

The 9th Annual Making Tracks for South 5K Run and 2K Fitness Walk in West Amwell, NJ will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026 to raise funds and support for the South Hunterdon Regional High School and Middle School Track and Cross Country Programs.

Track History

• Track Completion: The track construction was completed in the spring of 2020.
• Utilization Delay: The team was unable to utilize the track until the Spring of 2021 due to the pandemic.
• Season Information: South Track and Field will be entering its 13th season in 2025.
• Achievements: Since 2012, several individuals and relay teams have qualified for state finals and 7 individuals for the meet of champions.

Purpose of the Race

Race funds will be used to purchase much-needed track and field equipment and to support the teams in their pursuit of excellence!

Course Details

• Scenic Route: The 5K runs through the scenic hills of West Amwell, starting at South Hunterdon Regional High School.
• Weather Conditions: This early-spring race will be run rain or shine!
• T-Shirt Offer: Each pre-registered participant by Sunday, March 29th, will receive a t-shirt.
• Limited Availability: There will be a limited number of t-shirts available for late and race-day registrants.
