Making Tracks for South 5K

Race Overview

• Event: 9th Annual Making Tracks for South 5K Run and 2K Fitness Walk
• Date: Sunday, April 12, 2026
• Location: South Hunterdon Regional High School, Lambertville, NJ
• Purpose: To raise funds and support for the South Hunterdon Regional High School and Middle School Track and Cross Country Programs

Program History

• Track Completion: Construction of the track was completed in the spring of 2020.
• Pandemic Delay: Teams could not utilize the track until Spring 2021 due to the pandemic.
• Season Overview: South Track and Field will enter its 13th season in 2025.
• Successes: The program has sent several individuals and relay teams to state finals and 7 individuals to the meet of champions.

Race Details

• Course: The race runs through the scenic hills of West Amwell.
• Weather: The race will occur rain or shine.
• T-shirt Deadline: Pre-registered participants by April 26th will receive a t-shirt.
• Availability: Limited t-shirts will be available for late and race-day registrants.
