Race Description

Something spooky is taking over the fairways this Halloween. Join the Fort Myers Police Department and Apex Promoz at Eastwood Golf Course for the Ghost of the Coast 5K, a Halloween morning filled with running, costumes, candy and family fun. Participants will take on a scenic 5K course through one of Fort Myers’ most unique race locations while all you ghosts, goblins, pirates, superheroes and other creatures roam the grounds.

Beneficiary

The race will benefit the Fort Myers Police Department Police Athletic League (PAL), supporting programs that serve local youth through athletics, mentorship and positive community engagement.

Costume Encouragement

• Costumes: Highly encouraged
• Dress Up: Come dressed to impress.
• Types of Costumes: Individual costumes, matching couples, family themes and costumed pets are all encouraged.
• Originality: Creativity counts, so do not show up wearing the same tired vampire cape you have had since 2009 and expect to walk away with a trophy.

Race Awards

Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers, along with male and female age-group winners.

Finish-Line Party
