ARR Thanksgiving Day Classic

Race Overview

• Date: November 26, 2026
• Location: Peoria Sports Complex, Peoria, AZ
• Distances: 10 Mile, 5K, and 1 Mile Fun Run

Finisher Awards

• Medals: All finishers in each event will receive a custom Finisher Medal.

Charity Support

• Donations: A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Peoria Diamond Club, supporting local charities including Special Olympics Arizona.
• Previous Contributions: Over $68K has been donated by Arizona Road Racers to charity efforts.
• Toy Drive: Unwrapped toys will be collected for the Peoria Toy drive, with drop-off options available on race day or during packet pickup.

Race T-Shirts

• Shirt Type: Long-sleeve technical shirt included in adult registrations for the 5K, 10 mile, and all 1 mile fun run participants.
• Youth Sizes: Shirts available for $20 for youth entries.
• Size Availability: Register early to ensure your desired size is available.

Race Cut-off Information

• Cut-off Time: 10:00 am, translating to a 15 minute/mile pace for the 10 Mile race.
• Award Eligibility: Finishers after the cut-off will not qualify for an age group award pie.

Registration Details

• Registration Deadline: Closes on Race Day, November 26th at 6:59 am.
• Online Only: Registration can only be done online through RunSignUp.
• No Paper Registrations: There will be no paper registrations on Race Day.

Start Times

• 10 Mile: 7:30 a.m. - (Course map)
• 5K: 8:15 a.m. - (Course map)
• 1 Mile Fun Run: 8:30 a.m. - (Course map)

Awards

• Winners: Pies will be awarded to the top three winners of each age group for the 5K and 10 mile races.
• 5K Award Age Groups: 10 & under, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.
• 10 Mile Award Age Groups: 17 and under, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.
• Awards Ceremony: The 5K awards ceremony will start at approximately 9:00 am, followed by the 10 mile awards.

Stroller Policy

• Allowed: Strollers and baby-joggers are allowed.
• Safety: Must start at the back of the pack for everyone's safety.

Packet Pickup and Toy Drive Drop-off

• Early Pickup: Saturday, Nov. 21st, Runner’s Den, 6505 N 16 St, Phoenix, 85016, from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
• Packet Pickup: Wednesday, 11/25, Peoria Sports Complex, 16101 N 83rd Ave, Peoria, 85382, from 12:00 pm – 6 pm.
• Race Day Pickup: Thursday, RACE DAY – 6:30-7:45 am at Peoria Sports Complex.
