Join us for the Run for a Sweet Cause 5K, a fun, family-friendly event benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities. Whether you’re an experienced runner, a weekend walker, or just looking for a great way to spend a morning with friends and family, everyone is welcome to participate.

Purpose of the Event

This event is part of my journey to the Chicago Marathon this October, where I am running as a charity runner for Ronald McDonald House Charities.

• Fundraising Goal: I am raising funds to help support families who must travel for their child’s medical care.
• Support Provided: The Ronald McDonald House provides these families with a place to stay, a warm meal, and a supportive community during some of life’s most challenging moments.
• Community Building: What better way to raise support than by bringing our own community together?
• Event Spirit: Inspired by the sweetness of summer, the Run for a Sweet Cause 5K combines fitness, fun, and philanthropy to make a meaningful impact for families in need.

Event Details

Come dressed in your favorite watermelon colors, enjoy a great morning with fellow participants, and help turn every mile into hope for families facing medical challenges.

• Time: 7:30 a.m.
• Location: Edinburg Municipal Park
• Impact: Every registration, sponsorship, and donation helps support Ronald McDonald House Charities and brings me one step closer to reaching my Chicago Marathon fundraising goal.
