Shake off the winter chill and welcome the sunshine with the Spring Fling Race Series — the hottest 5K / 10K event of the season! Lace up, grab your crew, and join us for a morning full of music, medals, and Bigfoot magic. From our littlest Yetis in the Kids Dash to seasoned runners chasing PRs, there’s something for everyone!

Race Distances

• Kids Dash (10 & Under): A fun 20-yard dash: includes a race tee and a special Bigfoot Kids Dash finisher medal. Not timed — pure fun!
• 1 Mile: Perfect for all ages and experience levels. Includes a race tee and finisher medal. Not chip-timed.
• 5K (3.11 miles): Chip-timed with awards: 1st Overall M/F – Bigfoot Trophy, 1st Masters (40+) – Special recognition pin.
• 10K (6.22 miles): Double the distance, double the glory: 1st Overall M/F – Bigfoot Trophy, 1st Masters (40+) – Special recognition pin.

Volunteer Opportunities

• Volunteer Then Run: Be part of the action and run the 5K! Includes a chip-timed bib, t-shirt, and finisher medal.
• Volunteer Schedule: Arrive 1.5 hrs early to help with packet pickup, run the 5K, help hand out awards post-race.
• Full Race Volunteer: Perfect for those who want to help but not run: receive a Bigfoot race shirt, VIP race access, choice of a free future race entry or $20 Amazon digital gift card.

Volunteer Roles & Ratings

• Water Station: Keep cups filled and cheer on runners! Chill position with great interaction.
• Course Monitors: Located at key safety points to direct runners and cheer them on! Fun, exciting.
• Finish Line Helper: Assist with medals and refreshments: easy and fun.
• Turtle / Sweeper: Support the final participant and alert volunteers when the last runner passes: rewarding and great exercise.

• Packet Pickup / Results: Distribute bibs, shirts, and celebrate finishers: busy before start, fun after.
• Floater: Assist wherever needed: super easy and fun.
• Lead Bike: Guide the first runners on the correct course: active and enjoyable.
• Bigfoot Mascot: Wear the suit, cheer, give high-fives, and take photos: the coolest position!

Important Notes

• Shirt Guarantee: 10 days before race day. After that, limited availability.
• Weather: Races proceed rain or shine, hot or cold.
• Packet Pickup: Opens 1.5 hours before race start: any additional pickups will be announced by email 1 week prior.
• Public Space Notice: Events take place in public parks: be courteous and aware of other park users.
