Jaguar Facts

• Speed: Known for their explosive bursts of speed, Jaguars can reach up to 50 mph, making them one of the most powerful predators in the Americas.
• Species: Jaguars are the only living members of the Panthera genus native to the Americas and are the third-largest big cats in the world, behind only tigers and lions.
• Appearance: Though often mistaken for Leopards, Jaguars have larger, more complex rosette-shaped spots that frequently feature a dot in the center.
• Range: Their range stretches from the Southwestern United States through Mexico and Central America, deep into the Amazon rainforest, and as far south as Paraguay and northern Argentina.

• Registration Limit: Registration is limited to 875 runners. Early registration guarantees your race spot, commemorative race t-shirt, and finisher medal.
• Course Certification: Both the 5K and 10K are professionally timed and are USATF certified courses.
