🦘 Race Experience

• New Residents: Get ready for an exciting race experience as Cameron Park Zoo welcomes its newest residents - Australian Red Kangaroos!
• Inspiration: Channel the power and speed of the red kangaroo—the largest marsupial on Earth and Australia’s high-hopping heavyweight!
• Physical Attributes: Males can grow up to 6 feet tall and weigh around 200 pounds, while females are smaller and sleek.
• Design for Movement: With powerful legs and tails that work like a third leg for balance and propulsion, kangaroos are built for movement across the plains.

🎽 Registration Details

• Participants: Registration is limited to 850 runners.
• Benefits: Early registration guarantees a race spot, T-shirt, and finisher medal!
• Important Note: Last year, Zoo Stampede sold out prior to Race Day: register ASAP for the Year of the Kangaroo!
• Packet Pickup: Early pickup on November 7 from 4 pm to 7 pm: Race Day pickup on November 8 from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

🏅 Race Details

• T-Shirts: 5K includes a short sleeved cotton t-shirt: 10K includes a long sleeved technical shirt.
• Shirt Guarantee: Shirts only guaranteed for those registered by October 20, 2025.
• 1K Entries: 1K does not include a shirt but can be purchased for $15 during registration.
• Zoo Admission: Present your race bib on race day only for zoo admission.

• Importance: H-E-B’s Zoo Stampede supports your zoo’s ability to provide advanced animal care and essential conservation work.
• Event Date: Get ready to hop to your 2025 Zoo Stampede finish line on November 8th!
• Course Certification: Both the 5K and 10K are professionally timed and are USATF certified courses.
