You’ll need to be at the top of your game to outrun this year’s Zoo Stampede animal representative — the Jaguar!

Jaguars: The Inspired Racer

• Speed: Known for their explosive bursts of speed, Jaguars can reach up to 50 mph, making them one of the most powerful predators in the Americas.
• Strength: Imagine channeling the strength, agility, and speed of this incredible big cat as you race through the H-E-B Cameron Park Zoo Stampede course.
• Distinct Features: Jaguars are often mistaken for Leopards, but have larger, more complex rosette-shaped spots that frequently feature a dot in the center.
• Habitat: Their range stretches from the Southwestern United States through Mexico and Central America, deep into the Amazon rainforest, and as far south as Paraguay and northern Argentina.

Race Details

• Registration: Registration is limited to 875 runners. Early registration guarantees your race spot, commemorative race t-shirt, and finisher medal.
• Distance Options: Both the 5K and 10K are professionally timed and are USATF certified courses.
