About this race
Event Overview
The 2026 ROJR (Ride On Jeremy’s Ride) will be held Saturday, Oct. 3 with riders rolling out of a location near Holmesville, Ohio at 9:00 am.
- Date: October 3, 2026
- Location: 8492 Township Rd 553, Holmesville, OH
- Event Types: 67 mile gravel/paved mix for solo riders and a 40 mile route for teams
- Registration: Day of Registration + $10.00
Race Details
A 67 mile gravel/paved mix will be for solo riders participating in the Ohio gravel series. If you are not a serious contender, we encourage you to grab 2 or 3 friends and form a 3 or 4 person team and have some fun with the 40 mile route. You decide if the 4th person will help or hinder the team. Time stops when your third person crosses the finish line.
- Challenges: Team Event will include some "challenges to be completed" along the way.
- Course Support: Limited support and aid on the course.
- Navigation: The course is NOT marked: trust your GPS.
- Recommended GPS: A reliable GPS unit such as the Wahoo ELEMNT Bolt.

ROJR 67 mile qualifies for Ohio Gravel Race Series Points.

- Elevation Gain: Over 6,000 feet of elevation gain on course.
Event Description
The ROJR is a “gentleman’s race,” spanning several counties that offer some of the best gravel roads in the state.
- Countryside: Scenic farms and shady glens.
- Weather: Be cautious as October weather is uncertain.
- Challenges: Aimed at fun while challenging yourself alongside friends.
- Start Time: Check in begins at 7:30 a.m.
Honoring Jeremy Grimm
The ride honors the life of Jeremy Grimm, who lost his life in 2017 in a bicycle/truck accident.
Food and Aid Stations
- Breakfast: Light breakfast from 8:00 - 8:45 am
- Aid Stations: 3 aid stations (water, nutrition)
- Lunch/Dinner: From 12:30 - 3:00 featuring Chicken BBQ and cold beverages.
Rules
There will be plenty of circumstances along the course that will not be covered in the rules. The underlying spirit of this event is to have fun while overcoming obstacles together.
- Official Finishing Team: Must complete the entire 45 mile course to be eligible for awards.
- Team Time: Your team's time stops when the third member crosses the finish line.
- Honor System: Code-of-conduct best practices apply.
- Mistakes: Teams must return to the point of deviation if they take a wrong turn.
