About this race
The Westford Turkey Trot is an annual road race on beautiful country dirt roads. This race dates back to the 90s and has historically raised money to support the children and families of Westford. All proceeds continue to benefit this cause. The 2026 race will also help purchase a new ice rink for the community to use.
This year’s event will occur on Saturday, November 21st at Westford Elementary School, 146 Brookside Road Westford, VT.
Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup in the Gym from 8:30-9:30am. The Tot Trot will begin at 9:45am in the driveway, where spectators and runners line the driveway to cheer on the tots. Post-race concessions will be available for purchase in the gym, hosted by the Westford Common Hall. After the last runner finishes, we’ll announce the race winners (around 11:45am), and award raffle prizes. All participants are entered into the raffle. Raffle prizes include handmade jewelry & winter hats, gift cards, maple syrup, crafts, and much more! Race Winners for male and female in age categories for both races will be recognized.
This is a Westford Recreation Event and is fully fueled by the generosity of our community. Race Day Volunteers and Raffle items are still in need. If you would like to volunteer, or donate a raffle item, please contact the Race Coordinator, Tommy O'Connor at [email protected] or 802-878-4587
