• Solidarity: Communities across the country will run in solidarity while one flag makes its way from Ground Zero to the Global War on Terrorism Memorial.
• Participation: Join us to tackle miles together in support of this event and in remembrance of a nation coming together.
• Course: An out and back 2.5 mile adventure, at your own pace, with all abilities welcome to walk or run.

About One Flag Forward

• Partnership: wear blue: run to remember and Team Red, White & Blue have partnered for more than a decade to serve the military-connected community.
• Mission: One Flag Forward represents two organizations united under one banner, the American flag, to accomplish a shared mission.
• Unity: "One flag, carried by many, honoring all."
• Intent: Begins on September 12, honoring the strength of a nation united in service to one another.

Event Details

• Journey: Over five days, one American flag will travel 250 miles from New York City to Washington, D.C.
• Participants: The flag will pass through the hands of Gold Star and Surviving Family Members, Veterans, and civilian supporters.
• Representation: Every branch of the United States Armed Forces will be represented.
• Legacy: Every hand honors those who have served and the generations committed to carrying their legacy forward.
