Background

• Kathy Olenowski: A Denville business owner who lost her battle with cancer in 2011 at age 55, leaving behind family and community.
• Pink Witches Night Out: Founded by her daughter, Meg Olenowski, to honor Kathy's legacy of kindness and compassion.
• First Fundraiser: The inaugural event in 2012 raised $400 for a local breast cancer patient.
• Impact: In 2025, $85,000 was raised for Francesca Esposito, our incredible beneficiary.

Current Fundraising Efforts

• This Year's Beneficiary: Funds raised will support a mother of 3 diagnosed with Glioblastoma.
• Event Significance: This is the 2nd annual Pink Witches 5K event in Downtown Denville.
• Community Support: Last year's turnout was amazing, and we hope to grow support further this year.
• Participant Perks: The first 350 registrants will receive a race shirt and there will be age group medals.
