1st Annual Columbia, SC Ostomy 5k

Join us on Saturday, October 10th in celebration Ostomy Awareness Day at the beautiful Sesquicentennial State Park!

Event Overview

• Date: October 10, 2026
• Location: 9564 Two Notch Rd, Columbia, SC
• Family Friendly: Bring your entire family to enjoy fun, local vendors, food, and music!
• Beneficiary: All proceeds benefit the United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc (UOAA) charity, a 501(c)(3) organization.

Race Day Schedule

• 9:00-9:45 AM: Packet Pick-up and Same Day Registration
• 10:00 AM: 5k Start
• 12:00 Noon: Celebration and Awards end

Group Participation

Once you’ve registered, you can create a new RACE GROUP/TEAM or join one that's already established. This is a great way to encourage others to participate. Invite family, friends, and co-workers to register and celebrate the day with you!

Fundraising

• Goal: Raise $150 or more and your Registration Fee will be refunded!
• Importance: Funds raised help UOAA provide resources, advocacy, and support.
• Setup: Set up your own Personal or Team Fundraiser when registering or through the DONATE button.
• Unique URL: Personalize your fundraising message and direct your friends and family to your page.

Fundraising Incentives

• Empower Level: $250+ fundraising individually or as a Team Captain.
• Champion Level: $450+ fundraising individually or as a Team Captain.
• Awards: Fundraising awards to be announced.
• Champion fundraisers: Will also receive the Empower level fundraising award.

Event Insurance

Event Registration Protection is available for participants. For just a few dollars at checkout, you can add coverage to your registration and receive a refund if you’re unable to attend due to a qualifying reason.
