Springdale 5K Run and Walk
Join us for the Springdale 5K Run and Walk on Saturday, September 12th, 2026! This race starts at 8am on the grounds of the Historic Springdale Race Course and the National Steeplechase Museum! Finish strong at the gates of the Carolina and Colonial Cup! Runners and Walkers are welcome! Race proceeds benefit the Mobile Nutrition Center, a mobile food pantry that delivers healthy foods to sites located in rural Kershaw County, SC. The MNC directly serves clients by removing barriers that prevent access to food like transportation and income. Through community partnerships, MNC delivers farm fresh, store-bought and even rescued food and grocery products like vegetables, meats, whole pastas and rice, and baked goods to food insecure people. Health and Homeless initiatives in Kershaw county are operated by the United Way of Kershaw County!

- Course Support: One water stop and friendly volunteers
- Registration benefits: Quality Springdale 5K Shirt and FREE Waffles at the finish line for registered runners!
Shirt Deadline
- Deadline: Register by August 15, 2026 to guarantee a shirt.
- Extra Shirts: Will be ordered but no guarantees after the deadline.
- Pickup: Must be picked up on or before race day.
- Shipping: Unable to ship or hold shirts for late pickups.
Event Policy
- Weather: This is a Rain or Shine event.
- Refund Policy: Non-refundable event with no deferrals.
- Family Friendly: Strollers and dogs on leashes are welcome!

Awards: Claim Your Golden Horseshoe!
- Overall Awards: Top Three Overall Male & Female finishers will receive Golden Horseshoe Awards.
- Masters Awards: Top Three Overall Male & Female Masters (40+) recognized.
- Age Group Awards: Awards for Top Three Male & Female finishers in 5-year age groups.
- Winners: Custom Golden Horseshoes awarded as a unique token.
Awards must be picked up on race day! We are unable to ship them. If you can't be there to pick up your award, you can have a friend pick it up for you.
