Join Curing Kids Cancer for the Annual Run With All Your Heart 5K Fun Run!

Created by Future Leaders in Medicine Group, this event unites medical students from across the country in the fight against childhood cancer. This initiative supports critical pediatric research projects that make a difference in children’s lives.

• Date: Saturday, September 26th
• Time: Race Start: 9:00 AM
• Location: University of South Carolina School of Medicine, Columbia, SC

Participate as a Team &: Save!

• Team Registration: Gather your friends, family, or coworkers and register as a TEAM!
• Discount: Teams of 4 or more will SAVE $5 per person on individual registration fees.
• Awards: The Top 3 Teams will receive a special award on race day.

Open to Everyone

This event is open to all ages and running abilities—whether you're a competitive runner or just want to enjoy a fun morning for a great cause. We can’t wait to see you there!

• Location: Near the start/finish line at 6311 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209
• Date &: Time: Saturday, September 26th
• Packet Pick-Up Opens: 8:00 AM
• Race Starts: 9:00 AM

Registration Information

• Online Registration: Available until midnight on September 19th
• Race Day Registration: Sign up in person before the race on September 20th

At the Run With All Your Heart 5K, every step you take helps fund lifesaving childhood cancer research—and we’re celebrating your efforts with some heartfelt awards!

• Awards: Top 3 finishers in each category
• Overall Winners: Top 3 Male &: Female
• Masters Champions: Top 3 Male &: Female (40+)
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 in categories 5-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 &: above

Race Day Parking

Race Location: 6311 Garners Ferry Road. Parking will be available close to the race start/finish line. Please turn into Medical School Drive, which is the entrance just up from the VA entrance off Garners Ferry Road. Look for signs and volunteers to guide you to the designated lots.

About Future Leaders In Medicine

The Curing Kids Cancer Future Leaders in Medicine program, co-founded by Brandon Gettleman and Kirklen Petersen at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Columbia in October 2020, is a nationwide network of student-driven servant leaders focused on cultivating future physicians with a passion for cures. Join us in supporting Curing Kids Cancer to help find cures for childhood cancer in our lifetime!
