Intro to Bikepacking (Lake Mineral Wells State Park)

Event Overview

This November, Backyard Bikepacking DFW is hosting our fourth “Intro to Bikepacking” event. This will be a great opportunity to try out bikepacking without the hassle of planning a route, finding a crew, or leaving your backyard. If this sounds like your kind of fun, don't wait - this event has sold out in the past!

Location and Distance

We will be heading from Weatherford, TX to Lake Mineral Wells SP (50 mile round trip) and camping overnight. Once at the campsite, there will be opportunities for swimming, hiking, fishing, and birdwatching. It's sure to be a great time!

What Your Entry Gets You

• Park entry: Access to the state park
• Campsite spot: Overnight accommodations at the campsite
• Optional prep class: Pre-trip prep class (Sept 20th at REI Dallas)
• Ride support: Support from 3 members of the Backyard Bikepacking team
