Event Details

• When: Sunday, September 20th
• Where: Bryce Resort - 1982 Fairway Dr, Basye, VA 22810
• Race Start:
• 10:00 for 80-mile USAC State Championship Categories
• 11:00 for Adventure (40-mile) and Fun Ride (20-mile) Categories

Registration Information

• Pre-Registration: Starts at $37 and goes up to $65 as we get closer to event day
• Early Bird Rate: $37.80 through 8/31
• Through September 6: $45
• Through September 13: $55
• Through September 19: $65
• Walk-On Registration: $80

Day of Registration: $80 Cash, Venmo, or Check.

Race Logistics

• Race Check-In: Opens @ 8:30 & Closes 30-minutes before your START Time (Hard Close)
• Parking: TBD
• Accommodations/Camping: TBD

About the Course

• Course Distance: ~41-mile course with ~3,750' of elevation gain each lap.
• Terrain: Combination of trails, gravel, fire road, and rural roadways.
• Start Point: Resort with mostly county gravel roads and some trail and creek crossings.

Race Distances

• USA Cycling Gravel Grinder State Championship: 80-mile (2-laps)
• Unravel Gravel Adventure: 40-mile (1-lap)
• Unravel Gravel Fun Ride: 20-mile (½ lap)

Eligibility and Prizes

• USA Cycling License: Not required for the 40 and 20-mile events: required for Champion's Title.
• Podiums: Two podiums for the 80-mile USAC Championship.
• Champ Jerseys: Awarded to USAC winners for 80-mile event only.
• Prizes: Jerseys for 80-mile, medals, and bragging rights!
