Native American Health Center (NAHC) is excited to announce our 23rd Running Is My High (RIMH) event on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Fairy Land area of Lake Merritt: 699 Bellevue Ave., Oakland, CA 94610.

🎉 Event Theme

The theme for this year's event will be "Run This Town!" as NAHC celebrates its growing presence in the City of Oakland, highlighted by the groundbreaking of its newest site, to be located in the Fruitvale District at 3050 International Blvd.

• Opening Date: December 2025
• Facilities: 20 Dental Operatories
• Community Space: 300-person Community Cultural Center
• Housing: 76 Affordable Housing Units in partnership with Satellite Affordable Housing Associates

🌟 Community Engagement

NAHC created Running is My High to engage our community members from all walks of life in an event promoting physical, mental, and cultural health.

• Participants: Annual 5K/10K draws over 500 runners and walkers
• Outreach: Features programming that honors Community Health and Native American cultural practices
• Resources: Includes guest speakers and outreach tables to connect our community to helpful resources

📝 Registration Details

Online registration closes on June 7th and costs $25 for adults and $5 for youth. In-person registration on the day of the event (6/8) is $30 for adults and $10 for youth.
