The in-person NC Fossil Fest 5K run will be held on Sunday, May 17, at 8:00 am in Aurora, NC.

• Location: Main Street, Aurora, NC
• Time: 8:00 a.m. (Bib pickup starts at 7:00 a.m.)
• Parking: Designated Festival Parking (grass lots south of Main Street)

Participation Information

Join us for our Annual NC Fossil Festival 5K Fossil Run! Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Aurora Fossil Museum. Please arrive by 7:30 a.m. so you can park, walk to the Race Start, and pick up your bib before 7:50 a.m. Arriving after 7:45 a.m. may result in a late start.

• Awards: Top 3 Overall Male/Female and Top 3 age group awards for Male/Female
• Fun Activities: After the race, enjoy Fossil Festival activities!
• Virtual Option: Participate virtually from May 17 to May 31 with an additional $8 shipping fee
• Medals: All racers will receive a custom Finisher's Medal
