Race Details

• Start Time: The timed race will begin at 7:30 PM.
• Glow Attire Contest: Participants are encouraged to be creative with their Glow Attire at 7:00 PM.
• Awards: Given to First and Second place in the Glow Attire Contest.
• Inclusivity: Runners and walkers are welcome.

Awards Information

• Categories: Top 3 males and females in three age brackets.
• Age Brackets: 15 and under, 16 to 29, and 30 and over.
• Award Recognition: Awards for top finishers in each category.
• Celebration: Post-race snack provided for all participants.

Post-Race Activities

• Selfie-Station: Featuring UV lighting for glow pictures.
• Social Media: Participants can share their glow pics online!
• Community Support: Funds raised support the Pickens County Meals on Wheels program.
• Mission: Dedicated to ensuring no senior is isolated or hungry.

Directions

The route starts in front of the Pickens County Performing Arts Center on Hwy 93, left on Commerce Street, left on Edgemont Avenue, right on Peachtree Street, left on Hillcrest, right on 93 (main street) down to track at field doing 1 lap, left on main, taking a right on Commerce Street, right on Front Street, right on Peachtree Street, right on 93 (main street), left on Commerce Street, left on Edgemont Avenue ending at 2nd entrance into our parking lot at the McKissick Center.

Final Note

With the help of 500 volunteers, we deliver 450 meals daily, ensuring our aging neighbors remain independent and connected. In 2025 alone, we will serve 600 seniors and provide over 80,000 meals. Our budget relies on fundraising and donations to help us continue to provide meals and a friendly safety check to our homebound seniors.
