• Event Name: 8th Annual 5K Glow Run

Glow Attire Contest

• Time: 7:00 PM
• Encouragement: Participants are encouraged to be creative with their Glow Attire.
• Awards: First and Second place will receive awards.
• Ambiance: The glow theme will add a fun element to the race.

Race Details

• Start Time: The timed race will begin at 7:30 PM.
• Participants: Runners and walkers are welcome.
• Awards: Top 3 Males and Females in three age brackets (15 and under, 16 to 29, and 30 and over).
• Post-race: A snack will be provided as well as a "Selfie-Station" with UV lighting.

About Pickens County Meals on Wheels

• Mission: Dedicated to ensuring no senior is isolated or hungry.
• Volunteers: Supported by 500 volunteers delivering 450 meals daily.
• Service: In 2025, the goal is to serve 600 seniors and provide over 80,000 meals.
• Funding: Budget relies on fundraising and donations.

Directions

• Route Start: In front of the Pickens County Performing Arts Center on Hwy 93.
• Route Details: Left on Commerce Street, left on Edgemont Avenue, and right on Peachtree Street.
• Track Lap: Complete 1 lap at the field before proceeding.
• End Point: At the second entrance into the parking lot at the McKissick Center.
