🏃‍♂️ Welcome to the Rocktoberfest Half Marathon & 5K!

The Rocktoberfest Half Marathon and 5K presented by Riverwalk is a running event that takes place in Rock Hill, South Carolina. It is a fun-filled event that combines running with music and beer. The event includes a half marathon and a 5K race, both of which take place in the scenic Riverwalk neighborhoods of Rock Hill.

🎶 Entertainment & Celebration

Live Music: A rock band performing live music near the start/finish line.
Beer Garden: An Octoberfest beer garden for participants to celebrate with friends and family.
Local Brews: Enjoy a variety of beers, including some of the best local options.
Full-Day Celebration: A celebration of fitness, music, and good times for everyone.

🏅 Race Details

The Rocktoberfest Half Marathon & 5K presented by Riverwalk will be capped for the event. There will be NO RACE DAY Registration so be sure to sign up early! ALL registration ends October 11th, 2025 unless we sell out beforehand.

🗺️ Course Information

The 13.1 Rocktoberfest Half Marathon and 5K begins and ends at the Criterium Course in Rock Hill, SC Riverwalk neighborhood. Runners will get to experience beautiful paths and some minor gravel sections. The course will be marked and will require the usage of bike paths and sidewalks as per city regulations.

🏃‍♀️ Pacer Information

We are excited to have the Charlotte Running Club Pace Team. Pace groups will be available, and you do not need to sign up for a group: just show up at the start line and look for the pacer signs.

🎟️ Timing Details

All participants will be timed by Start 2 Finish and will receive disposable timing tags during packet pick up. For questions about results, please email clt@s2fsupport.freshdesk.com.

👕 T-Shirts

Every participant will receive a tech shirt if registered before September 20th. Choices include Unisex Short or Long sleeve shirts.

🏃 Virtual Runner Option

If you cannot make it to the race, consider becoming a Virtual Runner! Details can be found HERE.

🏆 Divisions and Awards

Awards will be provided for various divisions, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Males and Females Overall.

🔄 Refunds and Transfers

Registration fees are non-refundable, and event registrations are non-transferable between individuals, events, or years.

⏳ Time Limits

There is a STRICT 3:00 hour time limit in the Half Marathon and 1 hour limit in the 5K.

🐕 Dogs and Strollers

For safety, dogs and strollers will NOT be allowed for this event.

⛑️ Medical/First Aid

Medical attention available at the finish line, and volunteers will guide those in need to the nearest ambulance.

💧 Water Stops/Restroom Facilities

Water stops will be provided approximately every 2 miles. Restrooms will also be available at the Criterium Course facility near the start/finish area.
