Course Information
The Half Marathon and 5K begins and ends at the Criterium Course in Rock Hill. The course includes running through the beautiful Riverwalk neighborhood and along the paved Piedmont Medical Center Trail.
Please note that a small section of gravel road will be included. Participants are asked to use bike paths and sidewalks where applicable.
Pacing and Timing
- Pace Teams: Charlotte Running Club will have various pace groups available.

Awards and Divisions
Awards will be presented to the top finishers overall and in various divisions. All awards are local business sponsored.
- Age Divisions: Overall, Masters, and various age brackets.
- Award Ceremony: Awards around 10:30 AM.
- Claiming Awards: Must be present during the ceremony to collect.
- Non-Shipping: Unclaimed awards will not be shipped.
Event Policies
Refunds: Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Time Limits: 3-hour limit for Half Marathon and 1-hour limit for 5K.
Dogs and Strollers: Not allowed for safety reasons.
Medical and Aid Stations
Medical assistance is available on-site, and water stops will be positioned every 2 miles during the race.
Parka and Transportation
- Location: Convenient access from I-77.
- Parking: Ample parking available around the Criterium Course.
- Distances: 25 min from Charlotte, 40 min from Huntersville.
- Carpooling: Encouraged for convenience.
Post Race Expo
The Finish Festival will take place in the Criterium Course from 7:30 AM to 12:00 noon, featuring entertainment, vendors, food, and a beer garden.
Entertainment
Live rock music will be performed by Rock Onyx at the start and finish lines.
