Roxbury Community Benefit 5k Race

Event Overview

Hosted by the Morris County Striders running club and the Roxbury Recreation department.

Race Details

• Date: June 1, 2026
• Time: Starts at 7:00 PM
• Location: 72 Eyland Avenue, Succasunna, NJ
• Packet Pickup: Begins at 4:30 PM at Horseshoe Lake Recreation Complex by Imagination Station

Entry Fees

• Non USATF-NJ Member: $30.00
• USATF Member: $27.00
• Roxbury Residents: $27.00
• Family: $105.00 (For up to 4 family members, $25.00 each additional)

Awards

• Categories: Top 3 overall male and female
• Age Groups: 10 & under male and female, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34
• Additional Groups: 5-year age groups all the way down to 80-84 and 85+

Team Competition

• Divisions: Men, Women, and Co-ed
• Team Size: Unlimited team members (all must register): top three will score
• Registration: Teams must pre-register but add-ons are allowed on race day
• Entry Fee: Family entry fee covers parents and dependent children only: no B teams

The Course

USATF-NJ certified loop course (#NJ23011JLW). Flat, very fast and worth 500 points in the USATF-NJ P Grand Prix.

Post Race Party

• Food: Pizza, ice cream, water, Gatorade
• Entertainment: Live DJ music
• Prizes: Random prize raffles from local merchants (must be present to win)

Beneficiaries

All net proceeds from the race will benefit local charities and non-profit organizations: Roxbury HS Project Graduation, Roxbury Rescue Squad & Fire Department, Roxbury Social Services, Roxbury Interact Club, Roxbury Recreation Trust fund and Roxbury HS Track/XC scholarships.
