Run to Remember VB Overview

Run to Remember VB is a charitable race, conceived by four widows of Navy SEALs who were killed in action along with 26 other service members on August 6, 2011. In the midst of our grief, we felt extreme gratitude for the communities who rallied to support us- Naval Special Warfare, Virginia Beach, and many others around the nation. Our gratitude led us to create this event to bring people together to celebrate the true meaning of Memorial Day while giving back to organizations whose mission is to support families of fallen service members.

Event Details

• Date: May 25, 2026
• Location: 1341 Princess Anne Rd, Virginia Beach, VA
• Start Time: The morning begins with the National Anthem and the presentation of colors.
• Race Schedule: At 8:06 AM, the 5K will begin followed by the 1-Mile Kids’ Fun Run.

Post-Race Activities

Long after the race ends, the event continues with music, local food, and beverages.
