Race Background

• Purpose: The third annual Tristan Calvin 5k scholarship run is held in memory of Tristan Calvin's many activities with the school.
• Tragic Loss: Tristan, as a Senior at Owen Valley, had his life cut short during a traffic accident on July 20th, 2023.
• Giving Spirit: Tristan never met a stranger and was giving to a fault. His parents are starting this scholarship in his name to keep that spirit alive.
• Support: Please consider a donation in his name and bring your family and friends to walk or run with us in his memory.

Awards

• Awards Given: Awards will be presented to the top running and walking individuals.
• Age Groups: Awards will also be given for runner age group winners.
