Mid-Summer 5K Challenge

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The Mid-Summer 5K Challenge is a 5K run and walk road race held at Bloomington High School North, and all proceeds benefit the boys and girls Bloomington High School North Cross Country Teams.

• Location: 3901 N Kinser Pike, Bloomington, IN
• Race Date: August 2, 2025
• Registration: Begins at 7:00 am
• Start Time: Race begins at 8:00 am

🏅 Course Details

The course begins next to the bleachers of the Bloomington North track and field facility, utilizes the Prow Road, Kinser Pike, and Acuff Road loop, including the main road on the Bloomington North campus.

• Course Markings: Both miles and kilometers are marked.
• Final Stretch: The final 300 meters are run on the Ralph Sieboldt Track.

🏆 Awards

Age group awards are divided into Male and Female categories and are as follows:

• Run: Top 3 Overall, 10 & Under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over
• Walk: Top five overall
