💙 Why D-Feet Cancer?
- Foundation: D-Feet Cancer was formed in late 2021 by Jen and Will to fight pediatric cancer after their son Dalton's diagnosis.
- Impact: In January 2023, $100,000.08 was donated to fund Ewing Sarcoma research alongside the University of Pittsburgh.
- Funding: Over $480,000 has been funded for pediatric cancer research across multiple cities.
- Aims: The organization focuses on awareness and research for Ewing Sarcoma and other under-studied pediatric cancers.
✨ Dalton Fox's Story
- Diagnosis: Dalton was diagnosed in March 2018 and underwent chemotherapy and surgeries.
- Resilience: He fought bravely, becoming cancer-free twice before the disease returned.
- Legacy: Dalton's spirit and humor inspired many as he battled cancer.
- Memorial: He passed away on May 25, 2021, but continues to motivate efforts to improve cancer treatment.
🚶♀️ Race Details
- Fun Run: This is a fun run and not a timed event. Strollers and walkers are encouraged to start at the back.
- Access: Wheelchair/hand-cyclists/duo teams will start at the front of the pack.
- Restrictions: Pets, bicycles, skateboards, in-line skates, and scooters are NOT allowed in the race.
- Packet Pickup: Scheduled for May 15, 2026, at CLUB BRITTANY from 4-6 pm.
