Salem Summer Solstice 5/10K

🌞 Race Overview

This race is a fundraiser to support McKay HS Cross Country Team!

📅 Date and Time

• Date: Friday, June 13th, 2025
• 10k starts: 7:00 pm
• 5k starts: 7:10 pm

📍 Starting Location

Starting location: Minto Brown Island Park, parking lot #3 by the pavilion

🏃 Course Details

• Terrain: Both courses are flat and set in a natural environment.
• 5K course: All on paved trails.
• 10K course: Includes a small loop along an open trail before returning to a paved path.

🍦 Entry Fee and Amenities

• Includes: A post-race ice-cream sundae.
• Timing: Chip timing by Eclectic Edge Racing with immediate timing results.

⚠️ Important Details

• Restrictions: No rollerblades/skates, skateboards, dogs, or unregistered participants. Baby joggers and strollers are allowed.
• Walkers: Welcome in the 5K.
• Packet Pickup: Begins at 6:00 pm. Day of Race Registration ends at 6:50 pm. All forms of payment accepted (unless capacity is reached before then).
• Race Closure: All race courses close at 9:00 PM.

Note: Race timing and course monitoring end at 8:30 P.M.

💧 Aid Stations

One water station is provided for both races around mile point 1.25 for the 5K and 4.25 for the 10K.
