Oktoberfest Races Overview
Join us for the Oktoberfest Races comprising a 10k run and a 5k run/walk on September 20, 2026, at Kennedy High School, Mount Angel, OR. More details can be found at the official race page: Oktoberfest 5k and 10k.
Registration Details
- Online Registration: Ends on Saturday, Sept. 19 at noon.
- Day of Registration: $45 for 5k: $50 for 10k. Payments via check or QR code.
- T-shirt Purchase: Available for $15 while supplies last.
- Refund Policy: There are no refunds.
Course Information
- Starting Point: Both races start and finish on the Kennedy High School track.
- Course Features: The 10k course will be new this year, with parts on gravel, flat sections, and a few hills.
- Pacing Requirement: For the 10k, maintain at least a 15:00/mile pace as the course closes at 10:30 AM.
- Stroller Policy: Strollers are allowed but must line up at the back.
Race Day Logistics
- Packet Pick-Up: Begins at 7:00 AM at the Kennedy High School track on race day.
- Day of Registration: Registration from 7:00 AM to 8:45 AM.
- Dog Policy: Please do not bring dogs to the races.
- Post-Race Celebration: All finishers will receive a pint glass and a ticket for a complimentary beer at the Oktoberfest.
Supporting Local Programs
Proceeds from the races support the Kennedy, Silverton, and Gervais middle and high school track and cross country programs.
Pricing Structure
- Early Bird (1/1/25 to 4/30/25): 5k - $30: 10k - $35
- Registration (5/1/25 to 9/13/25): 5k - $35: 10k - $40
- Day of Race: 5k - $45: 10k - $50
