HENRY VILAS ZOO - RUN WILD 2024

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

This year's HENRY VILAS ZOO - RUN WILD 2024 supports African wildlife rangers in the Ol Jogi Wildlife Conservancy in Kenya. Participants will receive a Run Wild t-shirt and a pair of socks. Kids Fun Run participants get a t-shirt and a medal.

📅 Date and Location

• Date: Sunday, September 29, 2024
• Location: 702 S. Randall Ave, Madison, WI

🏅 Race Options

• 5k or 10k Distance: Choose your preferred distance
• Starting Point: 5k and 10k races start just outside the South gate on Vilas Park Dr. The Kids Fun Run starts just outside the North gate

🕗 Race Schedule

• 10k Race Start: 8:00 am
• 5k Run and Walk Start: 8:15 am
• Kids Fun Run Start: 9:30 am
• Note: Participants walking or pushing strollers line up at the back of the queue

📦 Race Packets

• Pickup: Before the race at the Zoo's Guest Services building from 10 am - 4 pm starting Friday, September 13
• Early Pickup Encouraged: Shirt sizes not guaranteed if picked up on the day of the race

All funds raised will directly support Henry Vilas Zoo and Ol Jogi Wildlife Rangers in Kenya. Ol Jogi Wildlife Conservancy focuses on wildlife conservation, providing habitats for indigenous and critically endangered species. The wildlife rangers collaborate with local communities to ensure support and benefits from conservation efforts.
