Race Day Fee: $17 per person.
Special Feature: We will have chip timing this year and all runners will start together.
Course Description
Characteristics: This unique one mile road race is all downhill.
Steepest Descent: The steepest descent is over the last quarter mile.
Finish Line: The race finishes within view of Lady Astor's famous mansion, "Mirador."
Post Race Views: Runners are treated to gorgeous panoramic mountain views on their cool down back to the Greenwood Community Center after the race.

From Charlottesville:
- Step 1: Take 64 West to Crozet.
- Step 2: Exit 107 250 West.
- Step 3: Take a right onto Rt. 690.
- Step 4: Take a right onto Rt. 691 Jarmans Gap Road. Greenwood Community Center is on the right.

History: Both close friends of Barnes, have directed the event since 1992.
