🎉 Moorpark Groundhog Day 5k/1M
Benefiting Moorpark High School’s cross country and track programs, the Groundhog Day event consists of two events. Starting at the high school, the 5k is a fast, chip timed road race with an exciting finish at the beautiful Moorpark High School stadium. All ages and abilities are welcome.
🏃♂️ 5K Race Details
- Start Location: Moorpark High School
- Distance: 5k, chip timed road race
- Finish Line: Moorpark High School stadium
- Finishers Medals: All participants age 11 and under who complete the 5k will receive a finisher medal.
🌟 1 Mile Fun Run
- Event Type: “Catch the Groundhog” 1 mile fun run for kids 11 and under
- Track Location: Held on the track
- Finisher Medals: Medals for all participants
- Registration: Fees include a t-shirt for all runners (shirts are only guaranteed if you register by Sunday 1/19/25).
🥳 Post-Race Festivities
- Awards Ceremony: Features age group medals
- Refreshments: Available for participants
- Vendors: Local businesses present
- Raffle: Wonderful prizes donated by local businesses
