Join us for the OutRun Ovarian Cancer event on August 2, 2025, at the Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland, OH. For more information, visit the race page here.

• Registration and Packet Pick-Up: 7:00 AM
• Celebration Rally: 7:30 AM
• Survivors' Tribute: 7:45 AM
• 5K Race & 1 Mile Family Run/Walk: 8:30 AM
• Awards Ceremony: 9:30 AM (must be present to receive award)

Dogs are allowed but we ask that you line up in the back and have a short leash.

Race-day registration begins at 7:00 AM. For mailed registrations, please make checks payable to "Hermes Sports and Events". Must be received by Monday, July 14. Mail to:

• August 2 (Race Morning): $35

🏆 Awards

Top Male and Female overall, and Top 2 Male and Female in age groups 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over. MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE AWARD.

🅿️ Parking

There are several lots available in the area (including the Great Lakes Science Center lot), along with street parking. Lots include the West 3rd St. lot just west of Cleveland Browns Stadium and the Port Authority lot just north of Cleveland Browns Stadium.

💜 What is OROC?

OutRun Ovarian Cancer, or OROC, is a volunteer-driven, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising ovarian cancer awareness and money for research and education. Founded in 2003, OROC events have generated funds allowing the group to donate more than $2,000,000 to ovarian cancer research and education in Northeast Ohio.

🎯 The Mission

OROC is dedicated to creating an active community of hope and empowerment for those touched by ovarian cancer through awareness, education, and early detection. OROC strives to put a new face on ovarian cancer—one of hope and encouragement.

🌍 What is a Virtual Option?

Virtual event participants can live anywhere! Please feel free to invite family and friends from around the country to join you in bringing hope and empowerment to those touched by ovarian cancer. Simply register to participate and join us virtually to complete the 5K or 1 Mile race on your own. Run or walk, outdoors or on a treadmill – you choose! ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH JULY 14.

If you would like to submit your 5K result, please click HERE. ALL VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS WILL HAVE THEIR PACKETS MAILED BEFORE THE IN-PERSON EVENT ON AUGUST 2.

💰 Fundraising

Note: In order to organize a Team Fundraiser, you must be at least 18 years old and be signed into your own account. If another person registers you, you cannot be the fundraiser. If you choose not to run/walk and would like to make an individual, tax-deductible donation to OROC, please use the DONATE tab at the top of this page.
