WVRR Kids Running Program (Virtual or In-Person)

👟 Program Overview

• Start Date: The 2025 Lace It Up! Kids Running Program will kick off on June 9th.
• Ages: This program is for kids ages 4-13.
• Time and Location: This will take place at 5:30 p.m. at the Lions 3 Shelter in Deming Park.
• Virtual Participation: Kids may also participate virtually by choosing their workout location and staying connected through the Facebook page.

🏅 Program Goals

• Training Goal: The goal of the program is to train all participants to complete The Mile on July 4th.
• Registration: Registration for The Mile is free for all participants in the Kids Running Program.
• Race Shirt: If you would like a race shirt, you will have to add that on when you register for the race.
• Registration Code: A registration code for The Mile will be provided at a later date.

📅 Schedule

• First Session: The first session will be Monday June 9th.
• Meeting Days: Kids Running Program meets every Monday and Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Lions 3 Shelter in Deming Park.
• Program Duration: The program will run from June 9th – June 30th.
• The Mile Event: Participants will then run in The Mile that will be held Friday, July 4th.
