• Note: Register by September 12 to ensure a t-shirt. Registrations after September 1 will receive t-shirts if available!

🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

• Event: Get your favorite hero costume ready for the 2025 Donate Life NC Hero Run!
• Date & Time: September 14, 2025
• Location: Herndon Park, Durham, NC
• Purpose: Celebrating the hero in all of us while building awareness of organ, eye and tissue donation in NC!

📍 Race Details

• Course: The race will begin at Herndon Park in Durham. Runners and walkers will do an out and back on the American Tobacco Trail and end back at the park for refreshments and awards!
• Parking: Parking is located at Herndon Park, 511 Scott King Road in Durham. Follow our signs to the starting line.
• Funds: All funds go towards continued outreach and education statewide.

💲 Registration Fees/Categories

• 5K Run/Walk/Roll: $35.00 per person. Registration includes a t-shirt, bib with timing chip, and refreshments after the event.
• 1 Mile Fun Run: $20.00 per person. The 1 Mile Fun Run includes a bib and the post-race party!
• Sleep in Superhero: $25.00 per person. Can't run or just don’t want to get up early? Register as a Sleep In Superhero and we'll send you a race t-shirt!

🏆 Awards/Categories

• 5K: Top 3 Male & Female Overall
• Age Groups: Top 3 Combined Male & Female 10 & under
• Specific Categories: Top 1 Male & Female in the following age groups: 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
