🧠 Race Overview

Two sisters with one vision. Our intention for the Peace of Mind 5k run/walk is to spread awareness and raise funds to support programs that help individuals overcome everyday mental health challenges. We believe, when one mind is peaceful and free, we all thrive as a community. Individuals can shine, inspire, and thrive! When we don’t have the tools to foster a healthy mindset through difficult obstacles and challenges: social, emotional and mental challenges can develop and negatively impact our daily lives. The onset of prolonged mental and emotional distress, anxiety and depression can occur and be debilitating. There are forty million individuals in the US diagnosed with anxiety alone. Peace of Mind run is addressing these concerns by decreasing the negative stigma surrounding mental health by spreading positive awareness and by raising funds for scholarship opportunities for adults whose challenges have resulted in debilitating behaviors. Shining light, awareness and promoting comfortability around these topics by focusing on Preventive Care and Treatment is our focus with our Peace of Mind scholarship fund:

💰 Scholarship Fund

• Purpose: A scholarship fund will provide funding for qualified individuals who require financial assistance to access a variety of effective mental health services.

📅 Mission

• Sponsorship: Bring in corporate sponsors to support the event.
• Fundraising: Raise funds to send individuals through effective scholarship programs.
• Community Support: Raise funds to support community events.
• Awareness: Create awareness in the overall community to inspire participation.
• Volunteerism: Build a community of volunteers dedicated to support the mission.

📌 Registration Information

• Mail-in Registration: To register by mail please complete and return our Mail-in Registration Form! Mail-in registrations will be accepted until May 5, 2025.
• Virtual Race: Can't make it to this year's event but still want to participate? We are excited to announce our Peace of Mind Virtual Race. All virtual race participants will receive a custom event finisher's medal and custom event dri-fit tech t-shirt.
• Eligibility: Virtual Registrations are restricted to US addresses only. If you reside outside of the US and wish to participate please contact StartLine Racing at info@startlineracing.com.

• Awards: Age Group Awards for Top Three in all Age Groups.

📅 Event Schedule

• Packet Pick-Up: Friday, May 9, 2025, from 3-6pm.
• Registration Opens: Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 6:30 AM.
• Race Starts: Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 7:30 AM.
• Awards Ceremony: Saturday, May 10, 2025, at approximately 8:30 AM.

🚦 Race Day Information

• Check-In: Race Day Check In begins at 6:30am at Arizona Falls (race location).
• Payment: Cash or credit card accepted on race day: checks are no longer accepted.
• Registration Fee: Cost of registration on race day will be $45 for the 5K.
• Accessibility: Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome. Leashed pets allowed.
