Running Over Addiction 5K

Event Overview

We are so excited for the 11th annual Running Over Addiction event on 9/12/2026!

Purpose

• Mission: Running Over Addiction is held to raise funds and awareness for the West Branch Drug & Alcohol Abuse Commission.
• Services: The commission provides comprehensive substance use prevention, intervention, and treatment services for Lycoming and Clinton County residents.
• Community Engagement: Other community organizations that provide related recovery services will table during the event.
• Resource Opportunity: Please take the time to learn from these valuable resources!

Event Details

• Location: South Williamsport Park Complex, 545 E. Central Ave., South Williamsport PA 17702
• 5k Start Time: 10:00 AM (Race check-in and day of registration will begin at 8 AM)
• Virtual Participation: Can be completed anytime in September wherever you are.
• Shirt Eligibility: Virtual Participants that register before the shirt deadline will have their shirt shipped out by 9/20/26.

Awards

• Recognition: Awards will be given to the top 3 in-person finishers!
• Children's Participation: Children age 10 and under participating in the 5K can register for FREE. No shirt is included with the FREE registration.
• Registration Deadline: Only participants who register by midnight on 8/20/26 will be guaranteed to receive a shirt with their registration.
• Waiver Requirement: All participants must register to sign a waiver, but no fee will be charged.
