Running Over Addiction 5K

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

We are so excited for the 10th Annual Running Over Addiction Event on 9/20/2025!

🌟 Purpose

• Objective: Running Over Addiction is held to raise funds and awareness for the West Branch Drug & Alcohol Abuse Commission.
• Services: The Commission provides valuable prevention services as well as treatment to those who are fighting addiction.
• Community Focus: Aimed at helping residents in Lycoming & Clinton counties.

• Venue: South Williamsport Park Complex
• Address: 545 E. Central Ave., South Williamsport PA 17702

⏰ Race Details

• Start Time: 10:00 AM (Race check-in and day of registration will begin at 8 AM)
• Virtual Races: Can be completed anytime in September wherever you are.
• Shirt Shipping: Virtual Participants that register before the shirt deadline will have their shirt shipped out by 9/28/25.

🏅 Awards

• Recognition: Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers (in person only).
• Fees for Children: Children age 10 & Under participating in the 5K can register for FREE. No shirt is included with the FREE registration.
• Registration Requirements: All participants must register to sign a waiver, but no fee will be charged.

🌐 Additional Resources

Many of the organizations in our community that provide services related to addiction and recovery will have tables set up at the park before and during the race. Please take time to learn about these valuable resources.
