Join us for our annual 5k Road Race through the streets of Seymour, Connecticut as we Pound the Pavement to fight breast cancer.

Let's Fight Breast Cancer

• History: In 2012, Seymour Tradition, a nonprofit organization, partnered with Seymour Pink, Inc. to co-host a 5K race.
• First Year Impact: The first year raised a total of $24,000 for both nonprofits.
• Community Support: Thanks to community support, over $1.2 MILLION has been raised for breast cancer research from this event alone!
• Your Impact: Your support and donations have a huge impact on those affected by breast cancer. Thank you!

Join Us in Seymour

• Date: The race takes place the first Saturday of October each year.
• Participants: Runners and walkers are welcome!
• Pets: NO PETS ALLOWED, and strollers must start in the back.
• Guidelines: Please abide by local, state, or federal guidelines for all participants.

Or from Virtually Anywhere!

• Virtual Racing: Introduced in 2020, allowing participation from across the country.
• Participation: You can walk or run anytime during the 3-day virtual period.
• Accessibility: Virtual option continues for those unable to join in person.
• Community: Over 1,600 participants across 30 states in our virtual events!

Kids Fun Run

• Event: A ~ half mile Kids Run to kick off races!
• Ages: Children ages 8 and under can participate.
• Location: Available both in Seymour and virtually.
• Encouragement: All children are welcome to join the fun!

• Live Event: 5k - LIVE EVENT in Seymour (3.1 Mile Walk or Run).
• Virtual Option: 5k - Virtual Anywhere (3.1 Mile Walk or Run).
• Kids Race: Kids Race - LIVE EVENT in Seymour (~.5 Mile Run).
• Kids Virtual: Kids Race - Virtual (.5 Mile Walk or Run).

We encourage friends, family, and businesses to form a team. We have over 100 teams participating each year, together in spirit and united in the FIGHT AGAINST BREAST CANCER! Of course we encourage individual participation as well.
