Spring Excitement: SPRING is a wonderful time of year in the state of North Carolina: the temperatures begin to warm, the days get longer, the sun shines brighter, and the tradition of the hometown Holly Springs "NC Spring Classic" takes place!
Course: The race starts and finishes on Main St., the perfect setting in the heart of downtown! The course takes you on a running tour through the most scenic sections of "The Springs."
Seventh Year: 2026 will be the 7th running of the NC Spring Classic, and we can't wait! Grab your friends and join us!
Special Note: The 8k is a solid pour! It measures just a hair over 5 miles...so, when your watch hits 4.9 miles, keep going...and know you're getting bonus steps!
New Features
Ruck Options: NEW THIS YEAR: RUCK! Ruck options are available for each distance.
Challenge Participation: The 8K Ruck is the qualifying distance to participate in the Holly Springs RUCK Challenge.
Events & Distances: Participants must Ruck the full official distance at each event: Holly Springs Classic – 8K Ruck, TMF 9/11 Heroes Run – 5K Ruck, Holly Springs Half Marathon – 13.1 Mile Ruck.

Registration Deadline: Closes on Wednesday, April 10th at 11:59pm.
Military Discount: Are you active military, a military veteran, first responder or healthcare worker? If so, we'd like to provide you with a race discount of 20%.
Policy: Bib transfers, deferrals, and event distance changes must be complete by Wed, April 10th at 11:59pm. Unfortunately, there are NO REFUNDS - we will race rain or shine unless conditions are dangerous.
Race Day Information
Packet Pickup: Packet pickup days are Thursday, 4/09 from 5-8pm and Friday, 4/10 from 4-7pm at Pace Yourself Run Co.
Race Day Pickup: Race Day Packet-pickup is 6am-7am. Must be pre-registered in advance.
Bag Drop: Bag drop will be located right outside of Pace Yourself. Please bring your own bag.
Aid Stations
Water Stations: Water at all aid stations, and both water & Skratch at Bass Lake.
5k Aid Station: 1 located at Womble Park, at approx mile 1.5.
8k Aid Stations: 3 total: one on School Days Lane and one at Womble Park.
16k Aid Stations: 4 total: including at Bass Lake (mile 7).
Parking Information
Parking Map: A parking map can be found under EVENT INFO.
Sponsor Suggestion: We strongly encourage race participants to park at Womble Park.
Restrictions: Parking at the Library and Cultural Center will be unavailable due to the weekly Farmer's Market.
Bathroom Facilities: Bathrooms are available at Womble Park and at the start (portable toilets are located in the rear parking lot of the car wash on Main St.).
Awards
Overall Winners: The overall 1st place winner will be awarded for both male & female runners in the 5k, 8k, and 16k.
Age Group Awards: 1st in age group awards for the 5k, 8k, and 16k for categories: 12 & under: 13-19: 20-29: 30-39: 40-49: 50-59: 60 and Over.

Refund Policy: Bib transfers and event distance changes must be completed by 11:59pm on Wed, April 8th.
No Refunds: There are no refunds or deferments for any circumstances - we will race rain or shine unless conditions are dangerous.
