🌞 About Winter Haven

• Population: Winter Haven is a beautiful city of approximately 35,000 friendly folks.
• Climate: It serves as a perfect haven from the harsh winter months up North.
• Lakes: The city boasts over 55 lakes to enjoy with fantastic sunrises and sunsets.
• Terrain: An absolutely superb terrain for running.

🏞️ Race Course

• Course Type: The 15k, 10k and 5k Course will run an out and back course on the Chain of Lakes Trail in Winter Haven (to Lake Alfred for the 15K).
• Terrain Features: The courses include gentle rises, enough to challenge advanced competitors but manageable for the average participant.

🎽 Race Amenities

• Shirts: Runners will receive a custom shirt (guaranteed if pre-registered before November 23, 2025).
• Bibs: Each participant will receive a custom bib.
• Medals: Finishers will receive a medal when crossing the finish line on race day.
• Goodies: Race packets will include goodies from race sponsors.

🏆 Team Competitions

• Team Options: Create and join teams to compete for the Largest Team and Fastest Team in the 5k race.
• Categories: 1. Family Team: 2. Corporate Team: 3. Social/Church/School Team.
• Trophies: Two trophies in each category: Largest Team (based on number of runners) and Fastest Team (by top 3 finishing times in the 5K).

📅 Race Day Schedule

• Early Packet Pickup: Friday, December 19, 2025, from 4:00-7:00 pm in the Breezeway of The Winter Haven Chamber Of Commerce Building.
• Start Location: Next to The Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce Building on 4th Street NW & Ave B NW (401 Avenue B NW, Winter Haven, FL).
• Registration: Day of race registration and packet pickup starts at 6:00 am.
• Race Start Times: 15k Start at 7:00 am, 10k Start at 7:15 am, 5k Start at 7:30 am.
• Awards Ceremony: 5K at 8:30 am, 10K at 8:45 am, 15K at 9:15 am, Kids races approx. 9:00-9:15 am.
