🎅 Event Overview

Evansville Rotary’s elves are busy preparing for the Santa Run on Saturday, 12/6/2025:

The 12th annual Evansville Rotary Santa Run!!

Join us for the 9AM for the CANNON start from Buffalo Trace Council’s Eykamp Scout Center, 3501 E. Lloyd Expressway, Evansville.

📍 Date and Location

• Date: December 6, 2025 at 9 am
• Event: 5K run and 1 mile walk
• Location: Buffalo Trace Council, 3501 E Lloyd Expressway, Evansville, IN
• Course: Relatively flat, through east-side neighborhoods

👶 Kids Events

Beginning at 8:30am is the Santa Elf kids run from 50 meters to 150 meters for kids ages 1-9. All finishers of the kids run will receive a medal.

• 1-3 years old: 50 meters
• 4-6 years old: 100 meters
• 7-9 years old: 150 meters

🏆 Awards

New this year, the Santa Elf kids run from 50 meters to 150 meters for kids ages 1-9. All finishers of the kids run will receive a medal.

• 5K Awards: Overall Fastest Male and Female will receive a trophy.
• Age Groups: First place male and female winners in age groups will receive a medal.
• Age Groups: 1-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

🎁 Most Spirited Award

• Awards: 5 awards total for various categories
• Categories: Families, Teams, Kids (1-9 years), Young adults (10-18), Adults (19+)

💰 Registration Details

Ho Ho Ho!!! You better watch out… We expect several hundred runners to register and come to town for this Rotary Santa Run. Don’t wait and don’t be late. Registration costs goes up to $35 plus the processing fee after December 3, 2025.

• Santa Elf registration: $5 per child
• Packet Pickup: Friday, Dec 5 from 11am to 6pm at Buffalo Trace Council
• Race Day Registration: Dec 6 from 7am to 8:30am
• Registration Method: Cash or check only

❗ Important Notes

• Non-Refundable: All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Santa Suit: All registered participants will receive a 5-piece Santa suit.
• Weather Policy: The race will not be canceled due to inclement weather.

🕒 Timing and Rules

The race will be officially timed by “To the Finish.” Results will be posted at www.tothefinishtiming.com.

🐾 Strollers and Pets

Strollers may be used in the 5K, but in the event of inclement weather, please use caution to keep any children safe. Bicycles and strollers are allowed in the 1-mile walk. Dogs, cats, lions, reindeers, and bears, as well as skates, skateboards, and scooters are NOT ALLOWED in any of the races.

🅿️ Parking Information

Parking will be available at marked lots on the Buffalo Trace Council property and the State Hospital property. Please obey parking signs and do not park on surrounding busy streets, as this may interfere with runners and holiday traffic.
