Race Overview

It is presented by the Evansville Wartime Museum, the P-47 Foundation and the Evansville Regional Airport with our title sponsor, the Liberty Federal Credit Union.

How exciting it will be to run on our airport runway!!!! Take off on Saturday, May 2, 2026 for the 2026 5K on the Runway presented by the title sponsor, Liberty Federal Credit Union, benefiting the Evansville -47 Foundation, Inc. giving runners a unique view of the airport and the Evansville Wartime Museum, while having fun and supporting a great, local organization.

• Location: Evansville Wartime Museum, 7503 Petersburg Road, Evansville, IN 47725
• 5K Run Time: 9 AM
• 1 Mile Walk Time: 8:45 AM

Kid's Dash

• Start Time: 8:30 AM
• Ages: 1 - 9
• Distances: 50m, 100m, 150m, based on age
• Entry Fee: $5 per child, includes medal

Registration Information

• Early Registration Fee: $25 until February 14, $30 afterwards
• Late Registration Fee: $35 (April 30 to May 2)
• Kid’s Dash Fee: $5, includes participation medal
• Shirts: Available until supplies last, guaranteed size until April 2, 2026

Awards

• Overall Winners: Trophies for male and female 5K runners
• Age Groups: Medals for each age bracket winner
• Age Brackets: 1-9, 10-14, 15-19, up to 80-99
• Results: Chip timed, posted online after the event

Parking and Accessibility

• Encouragement: Carpooling recommended
• Parking Locations: SRG Global and Anchor Industries
• Handicap Parking: Available at Evansville Wartime Museum
• Secure Valuables: Available for attendees' belongings at the event
