5K on the Runway benefiting the P47 Foundation INC

✈️ Race Overview

Take off on Saturday, May 3, 2025, for the 2025 5K on the Runway, presented by the Evansville Wartime Museum, benefiting the Evansville P-47 Foundation, Inc. giving runners a unique view of the airport and the Evansville Wartime Museum, while having fun and supporting a great, local organization.

📅 Date and Location

• Date: Saturday, May 3, 2025
• Time: 5K run at 9 am, 1 mile at 9:05 am
• Location: Evansville Wartime Museum, 7503 Petersburg Road, Evansville, IN 47725
• Participants: Limited to 85 for 5K and 1-mile walk, 70 for Kid’s Dash

💰 Registration and Entry Fee

• 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk: $25 until Feb 14, $30 afterwards, $35 from May 1 to May 3
• Kid’s Dash: $5, includes a medal
• T-Shirts: Guarantee shirt size by April 12
• Race Day Registration: $35 on race day from 7:00 am - 8:15 am

🏅 Awards

• Trophies: First place overall male and female in the 5K run/walk
• Medals: 1st place in each age bracket for 5K
• Participation: All 1-mile walkers will receive a medal
• Age Groups: Awards for multiple age brackets from 1-99

⏱️ Results and Timing

The 5K runners and walkers will be chip timed. Race results will be available online immediately following the event. Participants will receive results via email if an email address is provided on your entry form.

🚗 Parking

Parking is available from 7 am to 12:00 pm at the SRG Global (the Former Whirlpool Building) and at Anchor Industries. Shuttle service will be provided to the Evansville Wartime Museum.
