Race starts and ends at Chesterton Athletic Field, located at the corner of N Park Blvd, Shelburne Rd, and Chesterton Rd in Shaker Heights, OH. A limited amount of race t-shirts will be available for those who register on the day of the race.
The 5K route will follow along Shelburne Rd just past Green, turn right onto Rocklyn Rd, right onto Laureldale Rd, continue on Landon Rd, left onto McCauley Rd, continue onto Dryden Rd, left onto Parnell Rd, and will continue onto Shelburne Rd until we reach Chesterton Athletic Field again.
Stay after the race where you can listen to a live music band while enjoying donated food items at the Chesterton Athletic Field!
Gather your friends and family and run together as a team! Running as a group has benefits including a discounted rate as well as a team costume contest where the best outfit will be taking home a prize!
Awards will be given to the Top 5 Overall Runners.
This race is only the beginning of SCCE's journey. The proceeds from the event will be invested into Calvert Impact's Cut Carbon Note, an investment project focusing on sustainability in commercial buildings, a large source of carbon emissions worldwide. SCCE (Students Cutting Carbon Emissions) is a non-profit organization founded and run by students around Greater Cleveland with goals to raise money and make impactful investments, inspire fellow young people, and connect their communities over a shared sustainable future. Street parking will be available on Sherbrook Rd, Courtland Blvd, the other side of N Park Blvd, and Shelburne Rd if needed.
