Race Schedule

• Date: August 1, 2026
• Location: Chesterton Athletic Field, Shaker Heights, OH
• Start Time: Both the 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will begin at 10:00am
• T-Shirt: Pre-registered participants will receive a short-sleeved race t-shirt: limited quantities available for day-of registrants

• Thru May 31st: $25
• June 1st - July 31st: $30
• Race Morning: $35
• Team Pricing: $25 per Runner

Race Details

The race starts and ends at Chesterton Athletic Field, which is at the corner of N Park Blvd, Shelburne Rd, and Chesterton Rd in Shaker Heights, OH. Those who register in advance will receive a short-sleeve race t-shirt, with a limited number available for those registering on race day.

Teams

Gather your friends and family and run together as a team! Benefits include a discounted rate and participation in a team costume contest, with prizes for the best outfits!

Awards

Awards will be given to the Top 5 Overall Runners.

The Cause

This race is only the beginning of SCCE's journey. The proceeds will support Calvert Impact's Cut Carbon Note, focusing on sustainability in commercial buildings, a major source of carbon emissions worldwide. More information can be found here. The Organization

SCCE (Students Cutting Carbon Emissions) is a non-profit organization founded and run by students throughout Greater Cleveland. Their goals include raising money, making impactful investments, inspiring fellow young people, and connecting communities towards a shared sustainable future. Parking

Street parking will be available on Sherbrook Rd, Courtland Blvd, the other side of N Park Blvd, and Shelburne Rd if needed.
