Washburn Rural Back to School 5k

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The Washburn Rural Back to School 5k is hosted by the Washburn Rural High School Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams. We are inviting everyone: students, teachers, staff, parents, community members to kickoff the 2025 school year by running or walking a 5k with us. Whether you have been training all summer and you're ready to show everyone your fitness or you are just happy to be able to walk a 5k you are welcome to come join us.

📍 Location and Course

The race will start outside the gate to the south entrance of the football field and head east toward WRMS. Runners/walkers will complete two loops on campus and finish on the Track.

🎉 Event History

This is our 5th Annual 5k. The last four years have been a huge success and we are excited to be hosting again! All proceeds will benefit the Washburn Rural High School Cross Country teams - Thank you for your support!
