Event Overview
Join the Mid-Columbia Children's Museum for the 4th Annual Monster Mash 5K & Creature Crawl 1K, a family-friendly Halloween event bringing together costumes, movement, and hands-on fun in support of the future Mid-Columbia Children's Museum.
Whether you're running the 5K, walking with friends, or cheering on your little monster in the Creature Crawl, there's something for everyone!

Registration
Registration opens at 9:00 AM on September 1, 2026!
- Early Registration: Join us for one of our favorite family events of the year. Early registration ends October 1st!
- Foster & Kinship Families: Discounted registration is available for foster and kinship families. To receive a special registration code, please reach out to us at [email protected].
We want Monster Mash to be an event all families in our community can enjoy!
Race Day Rules
- Costumes: encouraged — keep them safe to run or walk in!
- Strollers: welcome — please start toward the back.
- Pets: Please leave pets at home (service animals welcome).
- Supervision: Keep little monsters supervised.
- Course: Stay on the marked course and follow volunteer directions.
- Attitude: Be kind, have fun, and cheer each other on!
