Registration is OPEN! The 3rd Annual Monster Mash 5K & Creature Crawl 1K is brewing up a morning of spooky science, silly experiments, and hands-on fun for the whole family!

📅 Event Details

• Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025
• Location: Howard Amon Park
• Monster Mash 5K: 9:30 AM (top 3 male & female finishers in each category win prizes)
• Creature Crawl 1K: 10:30 AM (costumes encouraged! Each child receives a FREE shirt with early registration + swag bag)

Throw on your monster costume or lab coat and join us for a morning of running, laughter, and STEM-powered fun—think colorful test tubes, wacky experiments, and plenty of spooky-cute energy!

👀 Registration Reminder

Sign up by October 1 for early bird pricing and to guarantee your event t-shirt. Same-day registration is available, but swag and vouchers are while supplies last.

🎁 Science-y Perks & Fun

• Refreshments: Each 5K participant and 1K child gets a free cider/coffee and donut voucher (fuel for mad scientists!).
• Activities: FREE face painting for all child registrants.
• Fun: Trick-or-treating, STEM-inspired activity booths, and hands-on experiments for all ages!

🛡️ Safety in the Lab

• Restrictions: No motorized scooters, rollerblades, or skateboards.
• Strollers: Strollers welcome (please secure little ones).
• Service Animals: Service animals only.
• Hydration: Bring water and stay hydrated.
• Costumes: Costumes encouraged, but make sure they don’t block vision or movement.
• Supervision: Children must be supervised at all times.
• Guidance: Stick to marked paths and follow volunteer guidance.
