About this race
Event Overview
Join friends and neighbors of Kingsbury for its 16th annual on-campus race. The beautiful terrain that makes up the 100 acres of our incredible campus will challenge both runners and walkers with trails, roads, meadows, and hills in a 5K course that will be as memorable as it is demanding. In addition to the 5K race or obstacle race, a Free Fun Glow Run for younger runners will take place after the completion of the 5K race and obstacle run.
Awards and Prizes
- Gift Cards: Gift Cards from Hanson's Running Shop will be awarded to the top three male and top three female 5K participants 15+ ($25, $15, $10 for both male and female winners)
- Additional Prizes: Prizes will also be awarded to the top 5k male and female finishers 14 and under.
- Finisher Medal: Racers who register and pay by September 1, 2025 are guaranteed to receive a commemorative Kingsbury 5k Custom finisher medal.
- Chip Timing: 5k participants will have a chip timer.
Cougar Mudder Obstacle Course
Join friends and neighbors and conquer the Cougar Mudder 5K Obstacle Course Race. You will climb over walls, crawl under obstacles, complete different tasks, and traverse all types of dry and wet terrain. This is meant for friends to work together and challenge each other to try new things and have fun.

Registration Pricing
- $25: Runner/Mudder/Virtual (Advanced Registration until 9/1)
- Virtual 5K: Additional $5 if you need your bib/award shipped to you
- $35: Runner/Mudder/Virtual (Advanced Registration 9/2 - 9/25)
- $40: Runner/Mudder (Race Day Registration)
FREE: Kids fun glow run
Event Schedule
- 4:30 - 7:30: Food truck available
- 4:30 - 5:20 p.m.: Registration
- 5:30 p.m.: 5K Run/Walk begins
- 5:35 - 5:45: Obstacle course waves start every minute
- 7:15 p.m.: 5K Awards Ceremony
- 7:30 p.m.: Free Fun Glow Run
Course Details
The course consists of wooded trails, meadows, gravel, hills, and uneven terrain.
Entry Fee Includes
Entry fees include: post-race refreshment, glow sticks, top finisher prizes for the 5K, and finisher medal while supplies last (Register and pay by September 1st to be guaranteed your swag).
