Salisbury Rowan Runners - Prediction Run 5K

Date: August 29, 2026 - 8:00 a.m. at Salisbury City Park (316 Lake Drive, Salisbury, NC 28144).

Check in at the large shelter right above the City Park building (shelter location marked on map below).

Event Overview

• Presented by: Ralph Baker Shoes
• Eligibility: All Salisbury Rowan Runners Club members (current as of August 29, 2026) are invited to join us!
• Format: Participants predict their 5K time before the race.
• Course: We’ll use the old First Methodist Missions 5K course, featuring three laps around the lake.

Race Rules

• Devices: Participants must remove watches and phones: no coaching during the race.
• Timing: No finish line clocks: times will be posted after the race.
• Winning: Closest predicted time wins a free pair of shoes from Ralph Baker's Shoes.
• Prizes: Additional prizes for 2nd through 5th places, including entries to future races.

Door Prizes

• Featured Prize: New pair of Topo shoes.
• Other Prizes: Multiple pairs of Feetures socks.

Post-Race Refreshments

• Complimentary: Free breakfast, cookies, and lots of fruit and water following the run.

Registration Options

• Current Members: Free registration for Salisbury Rowan Runners members.
• Non-Members: Individual registration for $30 or family registration for $45, which includes a one-year membership.
