Salisbury Rowan Runners - Prediction Run 5k

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• Date and Time: August 23, 2025 - 8:00 a.m.
• Location: Salisbury City Park (316 Lake Drive, Salisbury, NC 28144).
• Check-In: At the large shelter right above the City Park building (shelter location marked on map below).
• Presented by: Ralph Baker's Shoes and Topo Athletic!

🎉 Event Overview

• Who Can Join: All Salisbury Rowan Runners Club members (current as of August 23, 2025) are invited to participate!
• Race Format: Participants will make a prediction on how fast they will run/walk a 5K course around City Lake.
• Course Details: We’ll use the old First Methodist Missions 5K course, including three laps around the lake.
• Rules: Participants must remove their watch and phone at the starting line and will not receive any time coaching.

🏆 Prizes and Awards

• Grand Prize: The participant that comes closest to their predicted time will win a free pair of running shoes from Ralph Baker's Shoes.
• Second Place: Free entry to the 2026 Winter Flight 8k/5k (2-1-26)!
• Third Place: Free entry to the Santa Run 5K (12-13-25)!
• Door Prizes: Includes a new pair of Topo shoes and other great prizes, with a Topo representative on site!

🥗 Post-Race Activities

• Breakfast: Enjoy a free breakfast along with fruit and water following the run!
• Registration Options: Current Salisbury Rowan Runners members can register for free!
• Non-Members: Register individually for $30 or as a family for $45, which includes a one-year membership in the Salisbury Rowan Runners Club (SRR).
• Member Benefits: Club T-shirt, monthly newsletter, volunteer opportunities, club fun runs, annual meeting and dinner, and year-end awards.

🕘 Event Logistics

• Arrival Time: Please arrive in time to check in before the Prediction 5K starting at 8:00 a.m.
• Parking: Available at the shelter parking lot and along the street.
• Check-In Time: From 7:00 - 7:55 a.m. In person / day-of registration will also be available.
